THE SETTING

While the Cullens, the Volturi and everyone else live in peace or just plotting, a race on the verge of extinction arises.
There aren't many werewolves left since the Volturi hunted them... but those who have survived the hunt had centuries for preparations.
They are now recruiting humans with special talents as their numbers are still small in comparison with the vampires.
No one really knows if a war is going to start in Forks between the new vampires and the shape-shifters... but it's certain that a war between werewolves and vampires in the whole world is going to start. Like someone said... Revenge is Sweet.

Peace at last. With Victoria long gone and dealt with, what could be left to deal with? With all things considered, the future was looking considerably brighter for the Cullen coven. What could really be left to threaten them, apart from perhaps the issues with the Quileutes? Perhaps much more than they could have ever imagined.
News of the battle with Victoria's newborns has spread out across the worlds of the not only the vampires, but that of the werewolves. Many wondered why a strong coven would stand for one human girl. But despite the odd circumstances of the battle, many of the vampires slowly decided that they much preferred the Cullens to the Volturi, and have gathered near the small town of Forks. The few vegetarian vampires that came have mainly placed alligences with the Cullen coven, forming something of an extension to the original seven vampires and one human. The wild vampires, however, have taken up a base in the nearby station of Port Angeles, a few forming the Corder coven. Much friction exists between the Cullens and the Corders, and the gathering of so many vampires in such a relatively small space seems set to see sparks fly. Some have crossed the barriers of dislike that seem to have built up between the two covens, making a few forbidden friendships.
In the midst of all the growing tension, a small, nomadic werewolf pack have formed. This pack seeks battle between the Cullen and Corder covens, as it doesn't like to see these vampire covens growing so large and powerful. The pack have gone to Volterra, to approach the Volturi about a temporary unity. They know the Volturi are afraid of an outside coven growing stronger than themselves.
The Quileute pack is slowly growing as well, as other werewolves arrive and reside in La Push. Another pack, the Algoma, have arrived as well, though they are fewer in number and unlike the vampires, have no hard-feelings or any tension with the Quileutes. The wars will break new boundaries, crossing lines between the species.
Bloodshed, treachery, lies and some huge amount of framing look likely now, but a lot seems to rest on chance. But one thing is for sure...
It's time to make a move that will change the way their world works forever.
